This bibliography is an extension of the U.S. Bureau of Mines’ Information Circular 8668, entitled The Florida Phosphate Slimes Problem: a Review and a Bibliography. The Bureau of Mines reviewed literature published January, 1950 through April, 1973 with some additional references after April, 1973. FIPR staff examined the literature from April , 1973 through October, 1981 for this update. In a few subjects, literature relevant to phosphatic clay research which predates both bibliographies has been included.
